1. I will make sure I have all of the required baseball equipment and will wear the proper uniform to each game and practice, as designated by the team coaches. *I agree

2. I will not participate in swearing or name-calling even if the other team is doing it and will communicate that with my coaches. We want chants or chatter to help our team, but refrain when the opposing pitcher has started the windup/pitch. We strongly encourage our players to get up on the fence and cheer on their teammates. *I agree

3. I will control my emotions at all times. I will be a player that will think and then act, not the other way around. I will not throw my helmet, bat, glove, or anything in the dugout. I understand this will not be tolerated and I will be disciplined if I do it by loss of playing time etc. *I agree

4. I will treat all officials, opposing coaches and players with respect. If I have nothing positive to say, then I won’t say anything at all! I understand this will not be tolerated and I will be disciplined if I do it by loss of playing time etc. *I agree

5. I will take proper precaution when throwing balls or swinging bats. This means adhering to all tournament rules. *I agree

6. I understand that failure to follow this contract may lead to adverse consequences, including but not limited to dismissal from the team. *I agree

Mayhem Mentality

1. I will be a good teammate. I will cheer, encourage, not criticize or belittle. I will help pick each other up, not drag each other down. *I agree

2. I will put in the work on my own to better prepare for all practices and games. This is not limited to private lessons, practicing areas of the game I enjoy, or working on what the coaches communicate to me on my own time. *I agree

3. I will display a positive attitude by being optimistic about situations, interactions, and myself. By having a positive attitude, it will allow me to remain hopeful and be the best I can be even in difficult situations. *I agree

4. I will put in 100% effort and take failure in stride by remaining optimistic and never giving up. I will listen to my coaches and learn to be my best self even in challenging times. *I agree

Parent Section

1. I agree to pay all player fees that are due within given due dates in communications. NO REFUNDS! *I agree

2. I consent for my son to be on the Mayhem team roster (PG, USSSA, PS, PrimeTime etc.) roster through the end of the fall season. I will do what's necessary on making sure my son is registered on any other tournament in a timely manner. *I agree

3. I will do my best to get my player(s) to games and practices on time. *I agree

4. I will do my best to RSVP my child for all practices and games in GameChanger in a timely manner. *I agree

5. I (and my guests) will not engage in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct with any official, coach, player, or parent such as booing and taunting; refusing to shake hands; or using profane language or gestures. *I agree

6. I will teach my child to play by the rules and to resolve conflicts without resorting to hostility or violence. *I agree

7. I will teach my child that doing one's best is more important than winning, so that my child will never feel defeated by the outcome of a game or his/her performance. *I agree

8. I will never ridicule or yell at my child or other participants for making a mistake or losing a competition. *I agree

9. I will refrain from making negative comments about the coaches in my player's presence. I understand that this plants a negative seed in my player's head that can negatively influence his motivation, performance and overall experience. If I have a problem with one of the coaches, I will request a conversation or meeting with the coach to discuss the situation. I will observe a 24-hour rule to discuss issues to allow a "cooldown" period so emotions can be controlled. *I agree

10. I will refrain from coaching my child or other players during games and practices, unless I am one of the official coaches of the team. *I agree

11. I understand that failure to follow this contract may lead to adverse consequences, including but not limited to dismissal from the team. *I agree
